Can anyone shine some light on the issues with the spark plugs in the 3-valve mod motors out there? Not sure if I should bother replacing or live with old spark plugs.

Good question. Spark plugs are a consumable and even though the stock ignition and fuel injection does a far superior job at helping the plugs run longer, you shouldn't neglect the the easy maintance items that can help you get the most out of your ride. We suggest that when you do change your plugs that you put a dab of anti sieze on the plug threads and dielectric grease on the insulator both of which will help with removal. Since you have a very deep spark plug well another time honored tip is to use a length hose to help install the plug - helps protect the gap vs. 'dropping' in. Also, if you are planning on any future performance mods (supercharger, nitrous) you might want to consider upgrading the coils to MSD's #82438. Be sure and send us pictures of your ride! KT3
