Motor State Challenge, Watervliet, Michigan – July 24–26, 2025
Kunzman & Associates is excited to return for the 17th Annual Motor State Challenge, happening July 24–26, 2025—a premier Pro-Touring event that combines track action, scenic cruising, and serious street car performance.
The event kicks off at Motor State Distributing headquarters in Watervliet, Michigan, where more than 80 drivers are expected to gather and compete in a mix of Vintage, Late Model, Manufacturer, and QA1 #goDRIVEit classes. The #goDRIVEit class highlights true street machines—cars that drive to the event, race, and drive home again.
This three-day event follows the same proven format as last year. Thursday features a police-escorted cruise to stunning Weko Beach in Bridgman, offering participants and spectators a relaxed scenic drive along Lake Michigan. The evening wraps with a private dinner catered by The Pit Stop BBQ, known for its award-winning flavor and local roots.
On Friday, drivers will take to the technical turns of GingerMan Raceway for a full day of timed road course runs. Saturday wraps things up with an autocross competition at Tire Rack in South Bend, Indiana, testing driver skill and vehicle agility under pressure.
Kunzman & Associates will be on-site throughout the weekend to support participating manufacturers, check out the competition, and connect with the Pro-Touring community. We love this event because it celebrates real-world performance—cars that are built to run hard and look good doing it.
