Meet John Ianotte

A proud member of the Kunzman & Associates team since 2015, John Iannotte celebrates 10 years with Team Kunzman and marks his 52nd year in the SEMA industry this month.

Throughout his distinguished career, John has been a driving force in the Southeast territory, while also serving in a national capacity from 2008 to 2015. His decades of dedication to the automotive aftermarket have earned him numerous accolades, including his induction into the SEMA Hall of Fame in 2023—a recognition of his many contributions to SEMA programs and his commitment to supporting the industry’s WDs, retailers, and jobbers.

Beyond his professional achievements, John’s lifelong passion for music led him to co-found the industry band LEDFOOT in 1996. The band continues to perform for the automotive community, with a live show planned at the International Bar at the Westgate Resort during SEMA Week in Las Vegas.

Looking ahead to 2026, John and his wife, Sharon, will celebrate an incredible 50 years of marriage—a testament to the same dedication and heart he brings to his work and friendships.

John credits his mentor, the late Bob Barker of Kannapolis, NC, for shaping his outlook on life through three simple but powerful rules: work hard, play hard, and love all the people you come in contact with. John continues to live by those words every day, finding joy and fulfillment in the people and industry that have defined his remarkable journey.
